Weekly habit tracker
Eight habit rows and seven day columns starting on Sunday, with a notes box at the bottom.
Beginners and anyone who plans week by week.
If you would rather mark your habits on paper, four ready-made templates are waiting. They are simple, ink-friendly and need no signup. Download one, print it and start today.
Download the PDF that fits your routine below, then print it at actual size on US Letter or A4 paper. Write your habits in the left column and fill in a square each day you complete one. A tracker earns its keep where you will see it, such as the fridge or your desk.
The PDFs are vector files and print crisply at any size. The PNG is handy for viewing on a screen or editing.

A year-long view of one long-term habit.
US Letter is standard in the United States and Canada. Most other countries use A4.
Pick a template and print it
In the print dialog choose Actual size or 100 percent so the squares are not cropped.
Write your habits
Begin with no more than three. Give each a small, measurable target, such as reading five pages.
Mark it every evening
Filling in the square at the same time each day turns the marking itself into a habit.
Review once a week
On Sunday, look at the chain, note where the gaps appeared and make the next week easier.
Hang the sheet somewhere you pass every day: the fridge, a desk or the bathroom mirror. A tracker in plain sight gets used; one in a drawer is forgotten within days.
When you miss a day, simply leave the square empty rather than crossing it out. The point is not to punish yourself but to fill in the next square.
The online habit tracker counts your streak automatically and lets you download a PNG or PDF whenever you want.
