Daychain
30-day chain

30-day New Year resolution tracker

Most New Year resolutions start big and get dropped at the first slip. This page suggests a different route: choose one small resolution and add a link to your chain every day for the first 30 days of the year. The goal is not perfection; it is keeping your progress visible.

Why resolutions struggle in the first weeks

At the turn of the year we tend to make broad promises: be healthier, read more, get organised. The promise feels good, but what you will do and when stays vague, and a vague plan is easy to postpone on a tired evening.

Shrinking the resolution to one daily action changes things. A one-line rule such as “walk for ten minutes” gives a clear yes-or-no answer at the end of each day, and a chain makes that answer visible.

The first 30 days work best as a test drive rather than an exam. You find out whether the resolution fits your life, and if it does not, you shrink it or swap it. The point is to open the year with a rhythm instead of a vow.

The rule

Do your one small resolution every day and check it off in the app.

Miss a day?

Missing a day does not end the year. Your weekly skip credit protects that day automatically, and if the chain still breaks, a repair credit lets you carry on. A broken day is never shamed in red.
