Daychain
7-day chain

Can you stack a new habit onto an old one for 7 days?

Habit Stack Week is a seven-day experiment with one sentence: after I do X, I will do Y. Pick an anchor you already do every day, attach one tiny new habit right after it, and mark the chain. A week is short enough to try, and long enough to see whether the anchor works for you.

Daychain isn't in the stores yet. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the day it launches.

The rule

Every day for 7 days, do your tiny habit right after your anchor habit and mark it.

Miss a day?

A week is short, but a miss still happens. Your weekly skip credit can protect one day automatically, and a repair credit helps if the chain breaks. If the stack keeps slipping, try a different anchor next week rather than blaming yourself.

How it works

  1. 1

Pick an anchor and a tiny habit

Choose something you do every day, then write one tiny habit that follows it: after I pour coffee, I will write one task.

  2. 2

Do it right after the anchor

Do the tiny habit before anything else gets in between, then forge the day's link with one tap.

  3. 3

    Review on day 7

Ask whether the anchor worked. Keep the stack, change the anchor, or shrink the habit for the next week.
