Verdict
Loop is a genuinely great app — free, open source, ad-free, account-free, and privacy-respecting. If you're on Android only, want your data to stay on your device, and don't need cloud or social at all, definitely stay. But if you want iOS, cross-device sync, iOS widgets, or accountability with friends, Daychain fills exactly those gaps.
